Our growing team is seeking a Designer to lead the design of small to medium-sized linear infrastructure projects in the Greater Toronto Area. This role will work out of one of our Ontario offices – Ottawa, Whitby, North York, Toronto, or Hamilton.ResponsibilitiesProvide design services for water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including open‑cut, trenchless, and rehabilitation projects. Produce engineering drawings, reports, presentations, and required regulatory or funding applications.Support project managers and collaborate with the project design team to deliver Environmental Assessment Reports, studies, and detailed design documents that meet client requirements.Offer construction‑phase services such as submittal reviews, responses to RFI requests, and contract document clarifications.Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a high‑performance team culture.Lead by example to promote client focus, continuous innovation, and ethical, fair,



and sustainable practices.QualificationsDiploma in Civil Engineering Technology; candidate must bea Civil Engineering Technician with OACETT registration or eligible for registration.Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater design of linear infrastructure within existing rights‑of‑way.Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D.Experience in engineering support during construction and contract administration is considered an asset.Client‑focused mindset, strong commitment to innovation, high integrity, ethical behavior, and proven collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team.BenefitsBase compensation range: $87,000‑$115,000.
