Day & Ross is seeking a full-time Dock Worker for its Calgary dock team. You will receive and ship freight accurately, handle big and bulky shipments, and maintain a safe, clean work setting. The work includes forklift operation and physical labour in a busy area.
Key Responsibilities: Handle big and bulky freight on and off forklifts
Receive and ship customer freight accurately and efficiently
Protect inbound and outbound freight from damage
Follow TDG, WHMIS, company, and customer requirements
Help maintain a safe, clean dock environment
Requirements: High school diploma or GED
Counterbalance forklift experience
Previous transportation or cross dock experience preferred
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
Ability to work efficiently with little supervision
