As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will connect accounting operations with product development. You will run client month-end close, identify process improvements, maintain dashboards, and explain variances. Your observations will inform the roadmap as Alloy River builds agentic applied AI for finance and accounting.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain platform dashboards and identify gross-margin opportunities
Run month-end close for assigned clients
Analyze variances and explain what numbers indicate
Map financial systems and operational processes
Share client insights with the product team
Requirements: CPA designation
Four-plus years of accounting experience
Hands-on close and variance-analysis experience
Process mapping experience, including SOPs or systems inventories
Drive to improve processes, not merely run them
Apply accounting judgment, systems thinking, and process improvement to influence Alloy River’s finance platform from Toronto.
