MIC seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for clinical patient care supporting imaging procedures. You will collaborate with radiologists and technologists while managing medications, documentation, and patient comfort. The work includes ultrasound-guided biopsies and related procedural support.
Key Responsibilities: Verify identities, medical histories, documentation, and procedure explanations
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Assist ultrasound-guided needle biopsies and catheterization
Maintain sterile fields during injections and biopsies
Provide wound care materials and at-home instructions
Requirements: Complete an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program
Hold Alberta registration and a practice permit
Maintain current CPR certification
Bring wound care and medication management experience
Protect confidentiality and follow privacy requirements
