This CUPE position supports medically complex and palliative patients within an interprofessional team. You will provide patient and family centred care while applying physical assessment, communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Recent palliative and complex continuing care experience is required.
Key Responsibilities: Provide care to medically complex and palliative patients
Work closely with the interprofessional team
Support patient and family centred care
Apply clinical and physical assessment skills
Complete mandatory education as required
Requirements: Current College of Nurses registration certificate
Current Basic Life Support certification
Recent palliative and complex continuing care experience
Medical or surgical experience with clinical assessment skills
Proficient computer and critical thinking skills
Bring palliative care experience, sound assessment, and compassionate teamwork to Oak Valley Health’s medically complex patient population.
