As a Health Care Aide with Assisted Living Alberta, you will work within a multidisciplinary team. The Home Care program supports patients, families, and caregivers across care settings. You will follow care plans and facility policies while supporting short term or ongoing needs.
Key Responsibilities: Provide personal assistance with activities of daily living
Assist nurses with hygiene, nutrition, and mobility care
Support recreation and organized patient activities
Observe and report mood, health, and wellbeing
Maintain safe environments for patients, staff, and visitors
Requirements: Active or eligible Health Care Aide registration with CLHA
Provide proof of education or complete required certificate
Complete the Health Care Aide Certificate within 18 months
Work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on call
Hold a driver's license and have a vehicle
Bring daily living support, patient observation, and cooperative communication to the Home Care Health Care Aide position.
