This Chainsaw Operator / Labourer position supports tree service crews across Canada. You will explicit debris, prepare equipment, load materials, and help maintain safe worksites. The work includes outdoor manual labour, equipment noise, and changing weather conditions. The role requires a valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence, a current driver’s abstract, and pre-employment drug screening.
Key Responsibilities: Remove branches, leaves, trunks, and other fallen tree debris
Support arborists with tools, materials, measurements, and observations
Load trucks and feed brush into woodchippers




Set up barriers, signs, tools, and equipment
Report hazards and request equipment repairs when necessary
Requirements: Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence
Current driver’s abstract with fewer than six demerit points
High school diploma or higher
Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds infrequently
English reading, writing, and speaking ability
Bring chainsaw operations, safe work practices, and physical readiness to Wright Tree Service of Canada’s arborist crews.
