This Research Associate position focuses on synthesizing organic compounds from milligram to kilogram quantities. You will work under Senior Scientist supervision in research and development laboratories. The work includes process technology development, safe scale-up, data interpretation, and documentation for pharmaceutical manufacturing programs.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute experiments in research laboratories
Synthesize organic compounds from milligram to kilogram quantities
Analyze, interpret, and document experimental data




Develop inherently protected processes using thermal hazard assessments
Scale chemical processes to 50 L reactors
Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Technology diploma
Knowledge or experience in synthetic organic chemistry
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience is an asset
Organization and commitment to project timelines
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Build API development expertise through organic synthesis, process research, data analysis, and scale-up at Eurofins CDMO Alphora.
