Support rehabilitation services in Nelson as a permanent part time Rehabilitation Assistant across acute and long-term care settings. Work with therapists and clients.
Under clinical direction from a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist, you will support a multidisciplinary team. The position serves Kootenay Lake Regional Hospital and Nelson Jubilee Manor. You will carry out treatment plans and programs while helping monitor and evaluate patient and resident progression.
Key Responsibilities: Carry out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs
Assist therapists with patient and resident progression
Support client needs within a multidisciplinary team
Work across acute and long-term care settings
Requirements: Complete a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program
Hold equivalent education, training, and experience
Maintain a current valid B.C. Driver’s License
Support work across hospital and long-term care locations
Apply your rehabilitation training and collaborative care skills while supporting patients and residents throughout Nelson healthcare facilities.
