As Department Manager, you run an assigned department and contribute to sales, profit, and guest experience targets. You energize and motivate crew members while providing training and coaching. The position includes on-floor shift management, area supervision, and administrative tasks within McDonald’s operations system.
Key Responsibilities: Provide daily shift accountability following McDonald’s operations system
Identify operational gaps and provide direction and coaching
Review guest count, sales, and profit results
Oversee food safety and physical plant cleanliness standards




Handle and document guest complaints and feedback
Requirements: Two or more years’ recent restaurant management experience
Recent food preparation or food service experience required
Ability to supervise 11 to 15 people
Valid First Aid and Food Safety certifications
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and point-of-sale systems
Bring restaurant leadership, crew coaching, and operational accountability to McDonald’s department management on Vancouver Island.
