Support young children’s growth as a licensed Early Childhood Educator in West Kelowna, using emergent curriculum and compassionate care.
This full time educator role supports children’s emotional, physical, behavioural, social, and cognitive development. You will maintain documentation, communicate with families and colleagues, and collaborate with Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as needed. Computer proficiency supports classroom operations.
Key Responsibilities: Implement an Emergent Curriculum
Support children through routines and classroom transitions
Maintain documentation, reporting, and records
Complete attendance records and safety checks
Participate in meetings and professional development
Requirements: Valid BC ECE license
Current Criminal Record Check
Valid Child Care First Aid and CPR certification
Up-to-date immunizations
Ability to lift, push, and pull 45 pounds
Bring empathy, communication, documentation, and developmental support skills to children’s daily learning experiences in West Kelowna.
