This Lab Sampling Technician role supports laboratory operations, field sampling, and environmental and regulatory compliance. You will handle water, gas, hydrocarbon, soil, and other samples while conducting chemical and physical analyses. The work also includes operational support, documentation, and sampling-related troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities: Collect routine and non-routine field samples
Conduct chemical and physical analyses
Maintain equipment, containers, records, and sample systems
Communicate plant issues affecting safety, production, or sampling
Follow site safety and environmental requirements
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's Licence
Legal entitlement to work in Canada
Ability to work independently outdoors
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Apply laboratory, sampling, documentation, and safety skills while supporting reliable operations at Northern Alberta's Oil Sands facility.
