As Assistant Bakery Manager, you’ll work alongside the Department Manager to deliver operational excellence and exceptional service. You’ll help develop the team through training, motivation, recognition, and feedback. The work also includes staffing coverage, cleanliness, inventory management, ordering, invoicing, scheduling, and payroll functions.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service
Execute departmental strategies and stated performance objectives
Train, coach, motivate, and recognize team members
Lead huddles, share goals, and exchange product knowledge
Maintain merchandising, rotation,



staffing, cleanliness, and administrative functions
Requirements: Passion for engaging and exceptional customer service
Post-secondary business education and one year supervisory experience
Robust organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
Comfort using manual, automated, and computer software systems
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, standing, and heavy lifting
