Reporting to the Superintendent/Local Area Manager, the Postmaster represents Canada Post in the community service area. You will promote postal products, supervise staff, manage revenue and assets, and support mail delivery. English is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities: Liaise with the local community about Canada Post services
Promote and sell postal products to public and businesses
Administer operations during retail hours and delivery expectations
Manage postal revenue, assets, records, and values
Supervise, train, and assess staff performance
Requirements: High School Diploma or provincial equivalency
Business administration experience may provide equivalency
Experience leading and directing teams
Retail or service experience with sales and cash transactions
Ability to lift mail containers up to 50 pounds
Represent Canada Post in Conche through postal sales, staff supervision, community service, and effective post office administration.
