Plan child-centred learning with the YMCA of Three Rivers as an Early Years Educator in Guelph, supporting children and families.
This full time contract role serves children at Rickson Ridge YMCA Child Care in Guelph-Wellington. You will use Playing to Learn and YMCA Place to Connect curricula while building relationships, documenting development, and maintaining safety. The position runs through May 29, 2028.
Key Responsibilities: Provide compassionate care and support to children and families
Build relationships and update parents on children’s progress
Engage children through creative play and learning
Supervise children and follow provincial, municipal, and YMCA policies
Document development, sanitize spaces, and serve food safely
Requirements: Early Childhood Educator Diploma or accepted child-related education
CECE registration or proof registration is in process
Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification
Experience with young children, including volunteer or placement experience
Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 20 kilograms
Bring child-centred programming, family communication, and safety-focused care to the YMCA of Three Rivers in Guelph.
