As a Unit Service Worker, you will clean assigned inpatient, outpatient, operating room, laboratory, and common areas. The part-time temporary position supports patients, visitors, and staff. Responsibilities include room care, waste collection, linen handling, and supply replenishment.
Key Responsibilities: Clean routine and isolation rooms, corridors, washrooms, and shower rooms
Collect waste and sharps from assigned units
Clean furnishings, fixtures, telephones, beds, stretchers, and equipment
Distribute ice water jugs and collect menus
Replenish supplies and linens, removing curtains when required
Requirements: Cleaner experience in healthcare or hospitality settings
Knowledge of cleaning products and their uses
Basic knowledge of WHMIS
