Provide professional nursing service in Long Term Care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital. Rotating shifts include days, evenings, nights, and weekends.
This Registered Practical Nurse supports patients and residents as part of a multidisciplinary team. The position follows College of Nurses of Ontario standards and requires intravenous therapy competence, effective communication, and collaborative practice. Ongoing education and crisis response are also required.
Key Responsibilities: Provide professional nursing service to patients and residents
Work within a multidisciplinary Long Term Care team
Initiate and administer intravenous therapy and approved medications




Apply College of Nurses of Ontario practice standards
Work rotating days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Requirements: Graduate of an approved Nursing Program
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Valuable standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Meet the physical demands of the position
Complete annual review education requirements
Use nursing standards, intravenous therapy competence, and collaborative communication to support Long Term Care patients and residents.
