Responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and performing preventive maintanance tasks to keep our fleet in optimal condition. Additonally, will collaborate with the maintance team, adhere to safety standards,



and contribute to minimizing downtime and maximizing the efficiency of our trucking services.ResponsibilitiesPerform Scheduled Preventative Maintaince Inspections and repairs.Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting.Work towards meeting industry standard repair times for assigned repairs.Train on and stay current with current technologies.Maintain work areas of shop to meet health and safety standards.Communicate issue/concerns to managers as needed.Will be required to work occasionally on weekendsWhat You'll Bring5–7 years of related experience in fleet or heavy-duty equipment maintenanceCollege diploma and/or trade apprenticeship certificationLicensed Heavy Duty Mechanic with Journeyman/Red Seal certification or minimum 6 years experience.Unlicensed techs must have worked 6 years out of the last 10 in applicable fieldThey must have accumulated a minumum of 10,800 hours in this periodThey myst have acquired at least 70% of the schope of the tradeOff-Road and On-Road certification and CVIP experience an assettStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to multitask and adapt to changing operational needsProficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based applications preferredStrong commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service
