Provide person-centered resident care as a part-time Health Care Aide with Optima Living, supporting daily living and protected mobility.
Working under a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, you will support residents’ physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. The position serves Optima Living’s resident-first approach across seniors housing and care. Duties include medication support, documentation, nutrition, recreation, and infection control.
Key Responsibilities: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Document observations, interventions, and changes accurately
Administer and document medication according to care plans
Support nutrition, hydration, dining, and preferred activities




Respond to call bells, emergencies, incidents, and resident requests
Requirements: Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide program
Current registration with Alberta’s College of LPNs and HCAs
Active CPR and First Aid certification
Medication Administration course, exam, and annual recertification
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts
Bring respectful communication, organized documentation, and safe resident support to Optima Living’s person-centered care team.
