Alberta Parks seeks Parking Lot Attendants for Cypress Hills Provincial Park’s Hidden Valley Ski Resort. This seasonal role involves visitor assistance, snow clearing, safety responses, and maintenance support. The position primarily works outdoors across variable winter weather and cold temperatures.
Key Responsibilities: Greet visitors and organize safe parking in the lot
Install and remove parking lot signage as required
Clear snow and ice from sidewalks and public areas
Respond to public inquiries and safety concerns
Maintain roads, decks, trails, and parking areas
Requirements: Some high school diploma or directly related equivalency
Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
Physical stamina for outdoor manual duties in all weather
Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and winter shifts
Support Hidden Valley visitors through safe parking, snow clearing, public communication, and dependable winter outdoor maintenance work.
