Support safe, quality care in Labour and Delivery at Grey Nuns Community Hospital through cleaning, room preparation, and equipment movement. This temporary part-time evening assignment offers 0.50 FTE coverage.
As a Unit Attendant, you will work with Labour and Delivery staff across triage, labour, and operating rooms. The position maintains clean, safe, stocked spaces while moving patients, supplies, and materials throughout the hospital. You will also prepare medical equipment for MDRD and support room readiness.
Key Responsibilities: Clean assigned Labour and Delivery areas
Prepare triage, labour, and operating rooms
Stock supplies and maintain a protected environment
Prepare medical equipment for MDRD
Move patients, equipment, supplies, and materials
Requirements: Completion of Grade 10 or recognized equivalent
Experience as a unit attendant or service aide preferred
Labour and Delivery setting experience preferred
Hospital housekeeping experience preferred
Ability to work evening shifts as scheduled
