Deliver addiction and psychiatric care at Sheldon M Chumir Health Centre, using critical thinking and medication knowledge across wide-ranging shifts.
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will work independently with limited review in SkyPointe II’s community rehabilitation program. The position supports clients maintaining psychiatric stability and building community reintegration skills. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team while applying nursing processes, problem solving, decision making, and Recovery Alberta policies.
Key Responsibilities: Provide safe, quality patient and family centered care
Monitor clients for medication side effects
Collaborate with interdisciplinary and partnering agency staff




Attend regular consultations and client case conferences
Assist clients with community-based care and appointments
Requirements: Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Active or eligible CLHA registration and practice permit
Current BCLS-HCP certification
Working knowledge of Community Treatment Order legislation
Knowledge of psychotropic medication administration
Bring practical nursing, clinical judgment, psychiatric care, and medication-monitoring skills to SkyPointe II in Calgary’s Sheldon M Chumir facility.
