Support independence through personal care and client-centred service as a Personal Support Worker across Toronto West community settings.
VHA Home HealthCare seeks Personal Support Workers serving adults and children in homes, schools, retirement homes, and other settings. You will provide personal care, socialization, emotional support, and related health services. Care follows each client’s directions, preferences, service plan, and confidentiality standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with grooming, dressing, bathing, and daily living activities
Plan and prepare meals according to client needs
Support mobility and transfers safely
Complete light household cleaning, laundry, and dishwashing
Monitor and report changes in behaviour and condition
Requirements: Hold recognized PSW certification or listed equivalent qualification
Read, write, and speak English at grade ten level
Work weekends or rotational weekends as required
Travel between assignments within designated work areas
Use sound judgement and work independently with interdisciplinary teams
Bring compassionate personal care, safety awareness, and client-centred support to VHA Home HealthCare clients throughout Toronto West.
