Operate and inspect commercial building systems for WoodGreen, with expertise in HVAC, boilers, pumps, electrical equipment, and life safety.
As a permanent full-time Building Operator, you will support Building Services across WoodGreen sites. The role covers maintenance and repair of building structures, systems, equipment, and furnishings, including mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, structural, life safety, and security components. It also includes inspections, contractor coordination, emergency response, and rotating after-hours on-call duties.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, air handling equipment, and plumbing
Inspect HVAC, electrical, structural, life safety, and security systems
Replace filters, drywall, paint, and operate maintenance tools




Recommend building system repairs or physical changes for improved operation
Carry the phone, respond to emergencies, and assist contractors
Requirements: Building trade technician qualification or equivalent education and experience
Experience maintaining large computerized commercial buildings
Experience with contemporary air conditioning air distribution systems
Experience maintaining pumps and large air handling equipment
Thorough knowledge of heating, cooling, electrical, UPS, and fire systems
Bring commercial facilities maintenance experience, HVAC knowledge, and systems troubleshooting ability to WoodGreen Building Services.
