Support cardiac rehabilitation patients as an Exercise Therapist at Scarborough Health Network’s Centenary Site, with regional travel across satellite locations.
Reporting to the Manager, Regional Cardiovascular Rehab, this temporary full time role manages outpatient cases and develops individualized exercise programs. You will assess risk factors, supervise and monitor patients, and provide counselling and support. Collaboration with physicians, exercise therapists, and multidisciplinary teams is central.
Key Responsibilities: Manage cases for the outpatient cardiac rehabilitation population
Develop individualized exercise and wellness programs
Assess risk factors and monitor patient progress
Supervise patients during exercise activities




Provide counselling and ongoing patient support
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology or related health discipline
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
At least one year of cardiovascular rehabilitation experience
Knowledge of cardiac physiology, ECG interpretation, and medications
Strong communication, judgement, and multidisciplinary teamwork skills
Apply cardiac exercise physiology, patient monitoring, and individualized programming skills across Scarborough Health Network’s regional rehabilitation services.
