Build Power BI and SQL Server insights at NAIT while supporting campus decision makers through accurate reporting and data analysis.
The Data and Insights Analyst reports to the Manager, Data and Insights within Education Insights, Data and Research. This role builds data models, pipelines, reports, dashboards, and exports for institutional stakeholders. You will source and model large datasets in Microsoft Fabric, explore trends, and explain findings clearly.
Key Responsibilities: Own analysis and reporting requests from requirements through tested output
Design, test, and deploy business intelligence reporting solutions
Source, cleanse, and model datasets in Microsoft Fabric
Use visualization techniques to explore trends and communicate findings




Maintain data quality, privacy, security, and governance practices
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree relevant to the position
Minimum four years working with institutional data
Advanced Power BI, DAX, SQL Server, and Excel skills
Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Understanding of data modelling and business intelligence approaches
Apply data modelling, Power BI, SQL, and visualization expertise to strengthen NAIT’s institutional reporting and decision support.
