Operate excavators at Syncrude-Aurora near Fort McMurray, using grade control and safety practices on a remote mining site. Days-only shifts are available.
NACG seeks Excavator Operators for 14x7 or 10x4 schedules with 12-hour shifts. The work includes operating multiple excavator models, reading stakes, maintaining grades and slopes, and completing underground piping or ditching tasks. Candidates need mining or civil experience and solid safety awareness.
Key Responsibilities: Operate various excavator sizes and models as assigned
Read stakes and place grades as needed
Complete equipment walk-arounds, safety checks, and risk assessments
Review safe work plans and follow safety requirements
Report repairs, incidents, near misses, and damage immediately
Requirements: Minimum three years excavator operating experience
Minimum three years mining or civil experience
Minimum three years underground piping or ditching experience
Ability to cut and maintain grades and slopes
Valid Class 5 Driver's License and English proficiency
