Southbridge Care Homes seeks a Laundry Aide reporting to the Environmental Service Manager. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry while maintaining facilities, supplies, and equipment. The work supports cleanliness and resident care in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities: Collect and sort laundry by type, condition, weight, and classification
Wash, dry, fold, and deliver laundry to appropriate units
Set aside clothing for repairs or ironing, and mend when required
Report machine malfunctions, chemical inventory levels, and linen shortages
Maintain resident privacy and follow quality, fire,



and safety procedures
Requirements: High school diploma or GED preferred
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Detail-oriented, confidential, skilled, and safety-conscious approach
Ability to perform lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and equipment movement
Negative vulnerable sector check and completed two-step TB skin test
Bring dependable laundry, sanitation, communication, and safety practices to Kennedy Lodge LTC while supporting residents in Scarborough.
