The Township of Springwater seeks a permanent, full-time officer reporting to the Manager of Municipal Law Enforcement. You will promote compliance through information, education, and enforcement. The position supports community well-being across a mixed urban and rural municipality.
Key Responsibilities: Investigate public complaints about alleged municipal bylaw violations
Conduct inspections and enforce regulatory bylaws
Issue notices and penalties where appropriate
Prepare correspondence and court materials
Perform animal control duties and transport stray dogs
Requirements: Community college diploma in law and security or related field
Minimum two years of direct municipal law enforcement experience
Knowledge of Municipal Act and Provincial Offences Act
Valid Class G licence and satisfactory driving record
Municipal enforcement, property standards, and First Aid certificates
