You will work with a multidisciplinary team while applying cognitive support, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities: Provide total resident care within scope of practice
Support socialization for behaviourally challenged dementia residents
Work closely with multidisciplinary team members
Support Patient-Focused Care principles
Requirements: Current Ontario College of Nurses registration
Current B.C.L.S. certification
Experience in long term care required
Cognitive support experience required
Strong assessment, interpersonal, and communication skills
Bring therapeutic dementia care, assessment expertise, and cooperative practice to Sunnybrook’s specialized cognitive support unit.
