This English-to-German Linguist and Copy Editor role serves a leading multinational company through a partner company. You will refine marketing, product, user interface, customer support, informational, and light legal content. Accuracy, cultural relevance, consistency, and audience-appropriate phrasing guide every assignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate US English content into Germany or Switzerland German
• Copy-edit German content for clarity, tone,
  
  
  
  and consistency
• Perform machine translation post-editing to skilled standards
• Use CAT tools and the designated translation platform
• Manage more than 5,000 words weekly and meet deadlines

Requirements:

• Native-level German proficiency for de-DE and/or de-CH
• Excellent command of US English
• Two years experience plus relevant degree, or five years experience
• Experience across marketing, product, UI, support, and informational content
• Strong detail, communication, time-management, and independent-working skills
