As an Associate, Climate, you will gather insights supporting Vancity’s Climate Action Plan and climate business delivery. You will examine member needs, partner activity, policy signals, incentives, market examples, and emerging sustainable finance practices. The position requires strong analysis, documentation, and communication across Business and Commercial, Inclusive Banking, Member Experience, Product, and VCIB. You will prepare practical materials for members, partners, employees, and leaders while supporting pilots, partnerships, and implementation work. This role reports to the Director, Climate Strategy & Performance.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct targeted research on climate business and sustainable finance
Track member uptake, product activity, feedback, trends,



and progress
Develop comparison tables, opportunity scans, and briefing materials
Translate technical climate information into plain-language content
Support climate pilots, product enablement, and partnership activities
Requirements: Strong research and analytical skills using multiple information sources
Experience translating technical, policy, or market information
Excellent written communication for summaries and presentations
Experience supporting pilots, workshops, or cross-functional projects
Climate action, financial services, or sustainability knowledge preferred
Use sustainable finance research, analysis, and communication to support Vancity’s climate business opportunities and member-focused implementation.
