Office Full Time Kleinburg, ON $60,000 - $80,000 CAD per year
We are seeking a mid-level Accounting Clerk to support our waste management operations. This role is responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly and attention to detail is critical.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, coding, and vendor payments
Support Accounts Receivable and collections as needed
Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close, including journal entries and account analysis
Prepare and support financial reporting
Assist with payroll processing and government remittances
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience (mid-level)
Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting
Proficient in accounting software and Excel
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace with shifting priorities
In-person role in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
