Our confidential client is an established, extremely busy light and heavy duty parts and technology service supplier. The position combines practical technical problem-solving with customer relationships and business development, from anywhere in Canada.
The opportunity
Become the primary remote contact for an assigned light-duty truck customer and dealer portfolio. Resolve approved computer, application and connectivity issues, maintain customer relationships and develop profitable current business while reducing routine dependence on ownership.
Permanent, full-time employment. Work from anywhere in Canada, including all provinces and territories. This role is 100% remote: interviews, onboarding, training, customer contact and day-to-day work. No commute, travel, field service or home-based product handling is required.
What you will do
- Guide approved software installation, configuration, compatibility and connectivity checks using consented remote access and company-approved tools.
- Triage support cases; record symptoms, diagnostic steps, permissions, outcomes and follow-up. Distinguish a software issue from a mechanical or safety issue requiring escalation.
- Manage a support queue, explain next steps in plain language and follow through to resolution or a documented handoff.
- Develop service-shop and dealer relationships through researched outreach, calls, email and virtual demonstrations; qualify needs and prepare authorized quotations.
What you bring
- Demonstrated help-desk, technical customer support, software implementation, customer-success or technical-sales competence; equivalent work and learning are welcome.
- Practical Windows, application-installation and basic connectivity troubleshooting skills; willingness to learn Valley’s approved workflows.
- Clear job-related spoken and written English, careful documentation, customer judgement and comfort with outbound relationship development.
- Dealer relationships, automotive service exposure and additional languages are assets. Diesel, truck-sector or mechanical experience is not required; candidates are assessed on transferable competence.
Pay and equipment
- Proposed annual base salary: $70,000 CAD, plus a $3,000 annual technology allowance ($250/month).
- Additional incentive: 3% of eligible monthly revenue above $200,000, subject to the written attribution and eligibility plan. Variable earnings depend on actual eligible revenue and are not guaranteed.
- The company supplies the computer, monitors, headset, security tools and required software. Technology allowance is for high speed internet and phone.
- Expected schedule is 40 hours per week, with coverage hours and time zone agreed before an offer. Any additional coverage is arranged separately. Specific benefits and final compensation terms will be confirmed in writing.
