This intermediate analyst role combines application development, data engineering, and financial services technology. You will build and support data workflows, troubleshoot extraction and loading processes, and validate large financial datasets. Python, relational databases, Unix/Linux, and enterprise scheduling platforms support the work.
Key Responsibilities: Enhance applications through scripting and code interpretation
Analyze financial data flows and reconciliation systems
Install and support customer exposure systems
Configure scheduled jobs and resolve workflow failures




Assess risk and escalate control issues transparently
Requirements: Hands-on application development or automation experience
Strong SQL, joins, aggregations, and filtering knowledge
Relational database experience with schemas and indexing
ETL troubleshooting experience across extraction and loading
Understanding of capital markets and financial data flows
Bring data engineering, SQL, ETL, and financial operations knowledge to Citi's applications development technology team.
