Drive inventory replenishment for Rexel across Western Canada using vendor coordination and demand analysis from Calgary Foothills.
This experienced skilled Buyer supports Rexel’s Western procurement team and distribution network. You will replenish inventory for 56 branches while pursuing targeted turns and fill rate objectives. The work combines purchasing, supplier communication, inventory review, and discrepancy resolution.
Key Responsibilities: Place orders and obtain purchase order confirmations
Maintain purchase order costs and delivery dates
Review demand and make appropriate buying decisions
Rebalance surplus inventory across branches daily
Resolve supplier, accounting, and traffic discrepancies
Requirements: Post-secondary education or two to three years’ related experience
Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Outlook and Excel
Strong problem-solving and independent decision-making abilities
Effective organization and time management skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Bring purchasing judgment, supplier coordination, and inventory expertise to Rexel’s Western distribution network from Calgary Foothills.
