Shape competitive bids for Pomerleau’s Earthworks business unit through quantity take-offs, pricing analysis, and detailed technical interpretation. This corporate role follows a hybrid work model.
As an Estimator within Civil & Infrastructure, you will support large-scale projects from $1.5M to over one billion dollars. Your work will span sewer and waterworks, wind farms, dams, roadwork, and related initiatives. You will collaborate with proposals teams, trade partners, consultants, clients, and other business units.
Key Responsibilities: Contribute actively throughout the bid process cycle
Price project-specific labor, equipment, and materials
Interpret technical specifications with careful attention to detail
Complete quantity take-offs for contract pricing accuracy




Build relationships with trade partners, consultants, and clients
Requirements: Three to five years of construction estimating experience
Engineering or construction management education, or equivalent experience
Project coordination and team collaboration experience
Understanding of bid process cycles and project expenses
Solid computer skills, including estimation software
Bring construction estimating, quantity take-off, and stakeholder relationship skills to Pomerleau’s major Canadian infrastructure projects.
