Support RECO’s financial reporting as a General Accountant specializing in accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end close within a hybrid setting.

As Ontario’s real estate regulator, RECO relies on this General Accountant to maintain accurate financial records. You will process invoices and expense claims, manage vendor accounts, prepare journal entries, and support prepaid expenses and accrued liabilities. The role works under the Manager, Finance and Accounting, contributing to financial controls and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims
- Prepare payment batches, transfers, wires, and cheques
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies




- Maintain prepaid schedules and accrued liability entries
- Complete month-end close and account reconciliations

Requirements:

- Postsecondary accounting, finance, or related diploma or degree
- General accounting and accounts payable experience
- Knowledge of SAP Concur and Sage
- Microsoft Excel proficiency with formulas, lookups, and pivot tables
- Strong organization, communication, and deadline management
