The Unit Manager oversees a 34-bed Acute Inpatient Unit within the Addictions and Mental Health Portfolio. Reporting to the Program Manager, this experienced leader supervises Recreation Therapists, an Addiction Counselor, and a casual nursing pool. The position leads clinical care, supports safe patient care, and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams across hospital and community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily operations for the 34-bed Acute Inpatient Unit
- Directly supervise Recreation Therapists, an Addiction Counselor, and nursing staff
- Lead clinical care and foster positive team culture




- Drive change management and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in Grey Nuns working groups and committees

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Registered Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse program
- Current registration with a regulatory body
- Minimum five years’ Addiction and Mental Health experience
- Strong leadership, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills
