Northern Lights Public Schools seeks an Educational Assistant for a temporary full-time 1.0 FTE assignment commencing as soon as possible. The position supports students’ educational program needs, including social skills, behaviour skills, self-help, and personal care. Kikino School serves approximately 95 students from ECS to Grade 8.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist students with educational program needs
- Support social skills and behaviour skills development
- Assist with self-help and personal care needs
- Work one-on-one and in group settings




- Support safe, caring, inclusive learning environments

Requirements:

- Post-secondary training or Educational Assistant experience
- Knowledge and experience with behavioural strategies
- Computer proficiency and documentation procedure knowledge
- Experience with alternate communications strategies
- Criminal records check including vulnerable sectors check
