Prepare patient meals and support safe food service at Dogwood Care Home with Vancouver Coastal Health in Vancouver, British Columbia.

As a Food Services Worker, you will follow Food Protected protocols and quality standards within a client and family centered care model. Reporting to food services leadership, you will portion meals, prepare diet items, assemble sandwiches and salads, and check trays for dietary accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portion and serve patient and resident meals
- Wash vegetables and fruit for food production
- Prepare beverages, desserts, sandwiches, and salads
- Clean dishes, equipment, wagons, floors, and storage areas
- Deliver trays and replenish food and paper supplies

Requirements:

- Grade 10 and one year's related experience
- Equivalent education, training, and experience may qualify
- Food Safe Certificate Level 1
- Effective verbal and written communication abilities
