Job Overview
We are a manga shop in Red Deer selling Japanese manga and light novels. We are looking for someone to work a Fridays and Saturdays 4-8, plus extra when conventions are on, stocking shelves, working the register, hosting events and card tournaments and chatting with customers. Interest in manga and light novels is a must as you will be talking about them all day and making recommendations.
The store will also have a private library accessible only to people who pay a monthly membership that employees will have access to for free.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries about products and services.
- Stock Shelves
- Check memberships before allowing access to the private library
- Run the cash register
- Clean

Qualifications





- Proficiency in English; bilingual skills are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8.0 per week
