Accounts receivable expertise supports accurate funding records at Bissell Centre in Edmonton, using Excel and detailed financial analysis. This permanent, full-time position is onsite at Bissell Centre East.

Reporting to the Accounting Team Lead, the Accountant, Accounts Receivable supports Bissell Centre’s Finance team. The work includes deposits, donations, invoices, repayments, and daily sales records. Robust communication, organization, and problem-solving skills support accurate transactions and discrepancy resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process incoming deposits under policies and CRA requirements
- Reconcile donations with Resource Development documentation
- Create customer invoices and receivable transactions
- Record Community Bridge client repayments
- Record daily retail and social enterprise sales

Requirements:

- Finance or Accounting diploma or degree
- Three years of Accounts Receivable experience
- Microsoft 365 proficiency, specifically Excel
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Sage 300 experience is an asset
