Walters Landscaping is a family-owned landscape design and construction company serving residential clients across the Greater Toronto Area since 1954. From city gardens to country properties, we take pride in creating beautiful outdoor spaces and building lasting relationships with our clients.

We have the projects, equipment, and stories. We’re looking for someone who can turn them into compelling content and build a consistent online presence for our company.

The Role

This is a hands-on position combining content planning, photography, videography, editing, and social media management.

You’ll visit active job sites and completed projects to capture our work, document transformations, and introduce the people behind the company. You’ll then turn that footage into polished content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.

You’ll work closely with our sales and office team while taking responsibility for planning shoots, managing a content calendar, and keeping posts on schedule. We’re looking for someone who brings ideas forward and follows through without needing daily direction.

This role requires regular travel to project sites throughout the GTA and time working outdoors around active landscape construction.

Responsibilities

- Build and manage a content calendar with a consistent filming, editing, and posting schedule.
- Capture high-quality photos and video of ongoing projects, completed landscapes, project transformations, and behind-the-scenes activity.
- Create reels, stories, posts, and videos suited to each platform.
- Organize repeat visits to capture projects at key stages, from before construction through completion.
- Write transparent, natural captions that reflect our company and explain the work.
- Coordinate shoots with our team and clients, respecting client privacy and site safety.




- Organize footage, photos, and finished content so they’re easy to find and reuse.
- Respond to comments and messages professionally, passing inquiries to the appropriate team member.
- Track content performance and use the results to improve future posts.
- Contribute photos and video for our website, project features, and seasonal promotions.

What We’re Looking For

- At least one year of relevant content creation experience, supported by a portfolio.
- Robust photography, videography, and editing skills.
- Experience producing short-form video, including selecting footage, pacing, audio, captions, and colour correction.
- A working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
- Strong organization and time management, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
- Clear writing skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence working with crews and helping people feel comfortable on camera.
- An interest in landscaping, construction, design, or documenting how things are built.

Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, social media scheduling tools, and drone photography or videography is an asset.

We provide some content creation equipment, including:

- iPhone 15 Pro Max, DJI RS4 gimbal, and DJI Mic 2
- GoPro
- DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone
- Sigma 14–24mm E-mount lens
- Colour grading monitor and hard drives

Pay: $19.00-$30.00 per hour
