About Us

Tortoise & Hare (T&H;) is a state-of-the-art restaurant located within Central Park Athletics (CPA), Southwestern Ontario's largest and most progressive sports and recreation facility.

What You'll Do

- Greet guests, take food and drink orders accurately, and enter them correctly for the kitchen and bar
- Know the menu and daily specials well enough to make recommendations and answer allergen questions
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, checking back so guests never feel forgotten or rushed
- Set, clear, and reset tables to standard, keeping your section and service stations stocked and clean
- Process payments accurately and handle guest concerns calmly, escalating to management when needed
- Serve alcohol responsibly — check ID, monitor consumption, and refuse service when required under Ontario law

What We're Looking For

- Minimum of 2 years of restaurant service experience
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to stay composed during a busy rush
- Reliable attendance and clear, respectful communication with teammates
- Available to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- At least 18 years of age (required by Ontario law to serve alcohol)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Valid Smart Serve certification




- A Criminal Record Check is required before your first shift, at your own cost. We reimburse the fee once you’ve completed 90 calendar days of employment with us.
- Adhere to the no-smoking or vaping policy on T&H; / CPA property
