Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Social Worker (MSW) or Registered Psychologist with experience providing therapy to children and adolescents.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with young people and their families, understands the unique developmental and emotional needs of children and youth, and can create a safe, engaging therapeutic environment.

Evening and weekend availability is strongly preferred, as these times are often most accessible for children, youth, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual counselling and psychotherapy to children and adolescents experiencing emotional, behavioural, social, and mental health challenges.
- Support clients presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, ADHD, family transitions, grief, trauma, and school-related difficulties.
- Incorporate developmentally appropriate and evidence-informed therapeutic approaches.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers when clinically appropriate while maintaining client confidentiality.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other practitioners and administrative staff to support continuity of care.
- Maintain professional, ethical,



and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Required:

- Master of Social Work (MSW) with eligibility for registration in Saskatchewan, or registration/eligibility for registration as a Psychologist with the Saskatchewan College of Psychologists.
- Experience providing counselling or psychotherapy to children and adolescents.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Ability to establish therapeutic relationships with children, youth, and their caregivers.
- Professional liability insurance and appropriate professional registration.

Preferred:

- Training or experience in play therapy, expressive therapies, CBT, DBT-informed approaches, trauma-informed therapy, or other child-focused therapeutic modalities.
- Experience supporting children and youth with ADHD, anxiety, behavioural concerns, or emotional regulation difficulties.
- Comfort working collaboratively with families and other care providers.
- Availability to offer appointments during evenings and weekends.
