We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests by delivering food and beverages promptly and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables efficiently while ensuring proper presentation.
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding food items or specials.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction, refilling drinks, and addressing any needs promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables and utensils as needed.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health of our guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and accurate orders.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, along with basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently manage multiple tables during busy periods.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
