Job Overview

The Cafe Manager oversees daily cafe operations, coordinating food preparation, cooking, service, and team activities. This hands-on role combines customer service with kitchen and front-of-house leadership, helping create a welcoming, well-organized experience for guests.

Duties

- Coordinate food preparation, cooking, serving, and food handling while following food safety practices.
- Supervise and support team members, manage daily priorities, and contribute to interviewing and team management.
- Oversee POS transactions and cash handling; experience with Micros POS is useful.
- Maintain smooth restaurant operations and respond to guest needs with attentive hospitality.

Skills

Required: Practical leadership, customer service,



food handling, and cash-handling capabilities support safe, organized daily operations and effective team supervision. Preferred: Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience; restaurant management and supervising experience; and familiarity with POS or Micros POS, food preparation, cooking, serving, hospitality, interviewing, bartending, hotel operations, or barista work are advantageous.

Pay: $18.25-$32.46 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
