Busy restaurant and nightclub complex looking for an experienced Cleaner to join our team. Working mostly independently on your own responsibilities , while collaborating with team mates to ensure the overall needs of the operations are met timely, efficient and well presented; your efforts directly impact the comfort and well-being of staff and visitors alike.
Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning of restaurants, night clubs, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper to ensure availability at all times
- Follow health and safety guidelines during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
Skills
- Previous custodial or cleaning experience required, especially in commercial settings
- Robust attention to detail with a commitment to thoroughness in every task
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery such as vacuums, and pressure washers, safely and effectively
- Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues promptly
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to established standards
Schedule
Saturday-Wednesday 9-4pm *start/end time is somewhat negotiable
