Bee-Clean Building Maintenance is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Heavy Duty Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Timmins, Ontario!

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing specialized commercial floor care services and general building maintenance duties to maintain clean, safe, and qualified environments. This position requires hands-on experience operating commercial floor cleaning equipment and working with professional floor care products.

The role also includes outdoor property maintenance, such as grass cutting, snow removal, and spreading salt and sand on sidewalks and other common areas.

Work Schedule

- Monday to Friday: 6:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Applicants must be available to work the required schedule, with flexibility for overtime and additional call-ins as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate commercial equipment, including swing machines, ride-on automatic floor scrubbers, floor buffers, snowblowers, and sanding equipment.
- Perform specialized floor care services, including scrubbing, stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing as required.
- Safely handle and apply commercial floor cleaning products according to manufacturer instructions and safety procedures.
- Inspect, clean, and maintain floor care equipment to ensure safe and effective operation.
- Perform outdoor maintenance duties, including grass cutting, snow removal, and applying salt and sand to sidewalks and other common areas.
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company cleaning standards.
- Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance tasks efficiently and independently.
- Respond to additional maintenance requirements and overtime call-ins as needed.





Qualifications and Requirements

- Previous experience operating large commercial cleaning equipment and performing building maintenance duties is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience operating swing machines, ride-on automatic floor scrubbers, and commercial floor buffers is required.
- Strong working knowledge of commercial floor cleaning products, chemicals, and proper application techniques.
- Experience with floor stripping, waxing, polishing, and buffing is an asset.
- Previous commercial janitorial or building maintenance experience.
- Experience operating outdoor maintenance equipment, including snowblowers and sanding machines.
- Ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment safely and follow established procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning and maintenance duties, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and operating equipment.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high cleaning and maintenance standards.
- Must be available to work the specified hours and be willing to work overtime or respond to additional call-ins when required.
